‘കബോഡി സ്കേപ്സ്” കേരളത്തിലെ സമകാലിക ജനകീയമുന്നേറ്റങ്ങളുടെ പാശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് നഗരത്തില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന കഥയാണ്. ശക്തിപ്രാപിക്കുന്ന മതഫാസിസവും മുതലാളിത്തവും വ്യക്തിസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തെയും തൊഴിലാളി അവകാശങ്ങളെയും ഹനിക്കുന്ന ഈ മധ്യവര്‍ഗസമൂഹത്തില്‍ സ്ത്രീവിരുദ്ധതയും സ്വവര്‍ഗഭീതിയും സദാചാരപോലീസിങ്ങും അതിന്‍റെ പാരമ്യത്തില്‍ എത്തി നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. ഈയൊരു പാശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ ഹാരിസ് എന്ന സ്വവര്‍ഗപ്രേമിയായ പെയ്ന്‍റര്‍, അവന്‍റെ പ്രേമഭാജനമായ വിഷ്ണു എന്ന ഗ്രാമീണ കബഡി കളിക്കാരന്‍, ഇവരുടെ ഉറ്റ സുഹൃത്തും വനിതാവകാശപ്രവര്‍ത്തകയുമായ സിയ എന്നിവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്വം കണ്ടെത്താനും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ജീവിക്കാനുമുള്ള പോരാട്ടത്തിലാണ്. വ്യക്തിസ്വാതന്ത്യത്തിനായി ഈ മൂവരും നടത്തുന്ന ചെറുത്തുനില്‍പ്പുകളാണ് സിനിമയുടെ പ്രമേയം.
