Karthik saw a handsome gentleman named Sandeep on a dating site and clinched to message him, in September 2012. As Sandeep replied, what took-of was a few quick messages which bloomed into long text’ chains. In November of that year, they went on their first date, and over the next several months, they shared many magical moments, their first I-Love-You’s, and jolly jaunts. But it was in May 2013 when Karthik and Sandeep introduced each other to their respective families and were happily surprised at how quickly everyone welcomed their presence.
In February 2014, Sandeep and Karthik were engaged to be married and the planning for the wedding started right away. Whether it was picking out designs, clothing, or ceremonial customs, the entire global family network of cousins, aunts/uncles, and in-laws were intimately involved and greatly contributed their efforts in making this the best wedding ever. When Karthik and Sandeep finally took the first steps of the saptapadi, they looked out from the mandap at all the smiling, happy faces of thier kith and kin who had flown in from all over the world to show their support and love. It was both exciting and heartwarming to see how much things had changed in such a short period of time.
At the end of the wedding day on 18 Jan 2015, while they were in their early 30’s they could see the harmony in their shared future, knowing that both families were forever united in the name of pure love.
